The introduction to Nepal is an exciting trip to the cradle of an ancient civilization, old time famous for its rich culture, centuries-old traditions and hospitable people. On this trip you will have a chance to see the Buddhist and Hinduism sacred sites and religious places of the Kathmandu valley, have a nice vacation resting at the mountain lake with a delightful view over the Himalayas and experience an enthralling elephant safari in the jungles. Nepal is ready to open its ancient mysteries to the ones who adore the spirit of a real adventure and ready for a change
Day 1. Arrive in Kathmandu. Check in and take a rest. Take a walk around the tourist center of the Kathmandu. Welcome dinner
Day 2. Visit the places of power of the Kathmandu Valley (Svayambuddhanath, Buddhanath, Pashupatinath)
Day 3. Transfer Kathmandu-Pokhara. Visit Devis Falls and a sacred cave Gupteswar Mahadeva Cave
Day 4. A boat trip across the Fewa lake. Visit World Peace Stupa and enjoy a 1-day trek around Pokhara
Day 5. A 1-day trek to Sarangkot (1592 m)
Day 6. Free day in Pokhara. Have a nice rest at the Fewa mountain lake
Day 7. Tranfser Pokhara-Sauraha. Morning bathing with elephants. A walk with a local guide around the traditional Taru settlement
Day 8. Elephant-back-ride safari around the virgin jungle. A canoe ride through the jungle in the river full of crocodiles. An Elephant farm. Taru people culture program
Day 9. Morning bird watching in the jungle.Transfer Sauraha-Kathmandu. Check into the hotel
Day 10. Flight back home

Climate of Nepal is various and unique. Except Nepal, there is not such place on the planet what would combine on such a small area such a great variety of climate belts: from subtropical jungles, coverings the valleys in the south of the country, to the tundra area and eternal glaciers of the Himalayan tops in the north of the country. The best tourism season in Nepal is September-November and March-April. A monsoon starts in May and lasts till September, resulting in a cloudy rainy weather. From October till April the precipitations level is close to a zero.
Kathmandu is elevated 1300m above the sea level, likewise Cairo or Florida. In the fall-time the climate is soft, comfortable and warm (20-26 С at the daytime). In Pokhara down south, the temperatures are several degrees higher (23-29 С), the water in the lake is clean and warm. Down south in Chitwan National Park in Sauraha the climate is much warmer and softer. Fall is the best time to visit Himalayan region since after the monsoon the air is clean, no dust, smog or clouds that cover the mountain tops.
